Safe work is THE TOP PRIORITY at Thermo-Tech. And we currently boast a 0.86 worker’s compensation WCRB experience modifier (industry average is 1.0). Safety is a focus from ownership through the worker on the ladder with daily toolbox talks, weekly discussions with foremen to alert the central office of current site activities and concerns (especially from interacting with other trades and the issues they may be encountering) and monthly virtual OSHA compliant safety meetings with quizzes.

Furthermore, the company reviews near misses and incidents and provides its employees and management with BST (behavioral science technology) techniques for maintaining a culture of safety while alerting employees to recent trends and possible problem areas.

Empowering Our Employees: The IBP Foundation and Employee Support Programs

The Installed Building Products Foundation works to enhance the lives of our employees, their families and the communities where we live and work. We are working to build a better tomorrow today by framing futures, building homes and fostering communities. Foundation programs include scholarships, financial assistance and matching grants among others. All IBP employees are eligible to apply for Foundation programs after 1 full year of employment.

At IBP, we believe that your financial wellbeing matters. Truist Momentum: Installing Financial Confidence is a free online financial education program to help you achieve financial wellness and reach your goals. After 6 months of service, all installers (regardless of income) and all other employees who earn $60,000 or less each year are eligible to earn a $1,000 incentive for completing the program.

Safety is our first priority. Lead With Safety is IBP’s way of keeping safety at the front of our employees minds all day, every day. Our best-in-class Risk Department works to provide all of our employees with the training they need to stay safe. That training includes weekly toolbox talks, quarterly safety focus initiatives and Safety Excellence Awards.

As a thank you when the company meets its annual performance goals, we grant restricted stock units to qualifying, long-term, dedicated employees to celebrate every 10 years of their employment with IBP. If and when you qualify Once you complete your 10 years with IBP, you will receive detailed information on the program.
