Thermo-Tech uses proprietary ERP software and statistical modeling to maximize project efficiency, budgeting, and worker safety.
Using our own proprietary ERP software, we can not only optimize efficiency and productivity within our own operations but also provide our customers with unparalleled accuracy, reliability, and performance, empowering them to make informed decisions and achieve superior results in their projects.
Thermo-Tech developed and uses a proprietary web-based ERP software called JET for project management. This software allows us to keep our field crews and jobs on-time and on-target through trend forecasting, advanced job scheduling, and company-wide data sharing. With the data we capture from the field, we continuously update our forecasts and schedules and automatically flag jobs – big or small – that aren’t on-target for project manager intervention before they become problems. Additionally, with the information we capture from our customers and vendors, we can assure our customers are getting the best valued proposals and timely follow-ups.
Safe work is THE TOP PRIORITY at Thermo-Tech. And we currently boast a 0.86 worker’s compensation WCRB experience modifier (industry average is 1.0). Safety is a focus from ownership through the worker on the ladder with daily toolbox talks, weekly discussions with foremen to alert the central office of current site activities and concerns (especially from interacting with other trades and the issues they may be encountering) and monthly virtual OSHA compliant safety meetings with quizzes.
Furthermore, the company reviews anonymously collected near miss reports and incidents and provides its employees and management with BST (behavioral science technology) techniques for maintaining a culture of safety while alerting employees to recent trends and possible problem areas.
Thermo-Tech offers a referral incentive program where existing employees are encouraged and rewarded for referring friends to work for the company. The results don’t disappoint: we know our employees want to work here when they refer their friends and we end up with a more engaged and dedicated workforce because of it.
Furthermore, Thermo-Tech annually surveys its employees using the Gallup Q12® system. And routinely gets high scores!
High scores on the Gallup Q12® survey generally indicate a positive and engaged workforce. When employees respond favorably to the survey questions, it suggests that they are satisfied with their work environment and feel connected to their roles and the organization.
Here are some key aspects to consider when interpreting high scores on the Q12:
High scores imply that employees are engaged in their work, meaning they are emotionally invested, motivated, and committed to contributing their best efforts.
A positive response to the survey indicates a healthy workplace culture where employees feel supported, valued, and connected to the organization's mission and goals
High scores may reflect effective leadership and management practices. When leaders provide clear expectations, support development, and recognize contributions, employees are more likely to be engaged.
Engaged employees are often more likely to stay with the organization, reducing turnover rates. This can contribute to stability and continuity within the workforce.
Engaged employees tend to be more productive and perform at higher levels. They are likely to go above and beyond in their roles, leading to better overall organizational performance.
High scores on co-worker relationships and supervisor support suggest positive interpersonal dynamics, fostering collaboration and a supportive work environment.
